Mission Critical
Webhosting Facility - NYC
Westin Construction completed a 53,000 sf data center with approximately 32,000 sf of raised floor area. Located in the heart of New York City, the facility required the installation of 4 ea cooling towers and 4 ea 2 megawatt generators located on the roof of the facility. This fast track project had an unusually fast schedule to insure our client was able to honor their obligation to a major online retailer.
Data Center - Dallas
A complete facility upgrade from an old abandoned data center, converted to a state-of-the-art fully redundant building. Westin completed this 32,500 sf data center with approximately 20,000 sf of raised floor area in 24 weeks. The facility utilized two (2) new 2 megawatt generators for emergency power, two (2) new complete UPS systems with battery back up and two (2) new cooling towers.
Data Center - Atlanta
An extremely complex 26,000 sf data center located in Atlanta, GA. The facility is 29,000 sf with approximately 20,000 sf of raised floor area. This existing data center received a complete power and cooling upgrade to keep up with today\'s technology. The redundant infrastructure was completed while the existing facility remained in operation. The transition to the new infrastructure was carefully coreographed over a period of 60 days.
