Safety

It is the policy of Westin Construction Company to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees and vendors.  Westin Construction Company also abides by all governmental regulations as they apply to our operation.

To make our approach to safety effective and uniform throughout the organization, Westin Construction Company has adopted a safety and health program that we actively pursue.  We have specifically considered such guidelines as the Minnesota AWAIR Act, California’s IIP Program and other state programs in the development and execution of our program to minimize employee and vendor injuries.

To be successful, our program embodies the proper attitudes towards accident prevention on the part of both supervisors and employees.  It also requires cooperation in all safety matters, not only between supervisors and employees, but also between each employee and their fellow workers.  Only through such a cooperative effort can a safety record in the best interest of all be established and maintained. All employees are responsible for wholehearted, genuine cooperation with all aspects of safety and health, including compliance with all rules, regulations and for continuously practicing safety while performing and/or supervising duties.

A copy of our comprehensive Westin Construction Company Safety Manual is available for your review at your request.  In addition, a copy of our safety manual will be on your project site at all times while we are working and in control of your project.
